Newcomer Mentoring & Behind The Scenes

Newcomer Mentoring Program

Just like the last year there will be a mentoring program for all new sceners! It will feature a tour of the whole party place so you will be able to find your way around, a seminar about things like how to upload a competition entry to Partymeister, and, of course, mentors you can ask any questions that you may have during the party. There will also be an IRC channel to ask questions in: #newsceners on IRCnet.

Prior sign-up for the mentoring program is not mandatory, however if you do sign up now, you will get subscribed to the mailing list to receive any news we may have concerning the program, and there will also be a seat at the newcomer tables in the middle of the party hall reserved just for you (if you want/need one), which will allow you to get a shared experience with all your fellow first time visitors.

You can sign up until Wednesday, April 12th using the following link:

Look behind the scenes

If you’d like to take a look behind the scenes to find out where all the orga magic happens, there will be Q&A tours of various orga areas (compo prep, infodesk, beam*, main-organizing, network, seminars) held by the responsible organizers.
Prior sign-up for these is not necessary - the times they will take place can be found in the timetable and the start of each tour will also be announced at the party place individually.
Meeting point for each tour will be the infodesk - watch out for a person holding a sign!

* Due to space restriction in the beamteam area, we have to limit the number of attendees for the beamteam tour to 20. To allow the interested people to see what this part of Revision does, we offer two tours instead.
